"Anti-Palestinian Racism" (APR) is a political policy masquerading as anti-racism policy. The sponsor behind the APR policy is the “Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East” (CJPME).
It is infiltrating our public school systems and must be stopped.
School boards and Teachers' Unions across Canada are working to establish and normalize the racist doctrine of "Anti-Palestinian Racism" as part of the public school K-12 curriculum. This insidious doctrine is designed to make any criticism of Palestinians, Palestinian terrorist organizations, Palestinian political organizations, or the Palestinian narrative a "racial" crime within the context of our public schools.
This Anti-Palestinian Racism is a strong political statement camouflaged as Racism and must be stopped. It is fundamentally racist and has the potential to accuse and summarily convict anyone who disagrees with the Palestinian narrative, a racist with the ability to "cancel" or fire the accused teacher or student.
THE BASIS OF APR IS BASED ON FALSE PREMISES AND MUST BE RESISTED. Resisting the implementation of APR will be challenging given the progressive, anti-colonial, political interventionism of our Teacher Federations, Unions, and Boards of Education Trustees.
Anti-Palestinian racism refers to prejudice, discrimination, or hostility directed towards individuals or communities of Palestinian descent solely because of their Palestinian identity. This form of racism can manifest in various ways, such as verbal abuse, physical violence, institutional discrimination, marginalization, or denial of fundamental rights and opportunities.
Examples of anti-Palestinian racism include:
1) Stereotyping:
Palestinians are stereotyped as terrorists or violent extremists solely based on their ethnicity or nationality. FALSE. Palestinians as a group ARE NOT, NOR HAVE THEY BEEN STEREOTYPED as terrorists or violent extremists—the Palestinians accused of terrorism intentionally attack and kill (whenever possible) innocent civilians. The terrorists use knives, guns, machetes, rockets, RPGs, or any other instrument of terror they can find. The defining expression of Palestinian terrorism was evident in their recordings of the butchery, rapes and murders of innocent Israeli children, women and men on October 7, 2023.
2) Discrimination:
Palestinians face barriers to accessing employment, housing, education, or healthcare due to their Palestinian identity. FALSE: There is no systemic discrimination or barriers facing Palestinians in gaining employment access to housing, education, or healthcare. This claim of discrimination is a total fabrication.
3) Hate speech:
Spreading derogatory or dehumanizing rhetoric against Palestinians, often fueled by xenophobia or Islamophobia. FALSE: There is no organized pattern of derogatory or dehumanizing rhetoric against Palestinians. There is derogatory and dehumanizing language used to describe the HAMAS TERRORISTS that viciously and barbarically attacked, brutalized, raped, murdered, butchered and kidnapped 237 innocent civilian babies, children, mothers, fathers, grandparents, and innocent peaceful Nova partygoers. What makes the dehumanizing nature of these attacks so ugly and terrifying was that it was premeditated and captured by the Gazan-Palestinian terrorists on their own GoPros. However, Palestinians are not systemically attacked. Muslims (of which many Palestinians identify) do face discrimination and hate and are protected under Islamaphobia legislation.
4) Denial of rights:
Palestinians being denied their right to self-determination, freedom of movement, or the right to return to their homeland. PARTIALLY TRUE: The Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza have not been denied the right to self-determination or a homeland. The Palestinians have refused to recognize the existence of the State of Israel and negotiate in good faith. They have not been denied the right to return, but they have been told that Israel will not accept all the so-called refugees who claim to have a right to return to their pre-Israel homes. Under the current unsettled regime, the West Bank Palestinians do suffer from restricted movement. The Gazans, who have been self-ruled since 2005, had unrestricted movement within Gaza until October 7, 2004, when they attacked Israel (see 3 above).
5) Violence: Physical attacks or hate crimes targeting Palestinians or Palestinian-owned property, fueled by racist attitudes. FALSE: This is a total fabrication. There is no formal recognition of physical attacks or hate crimes targeting Palestinians. There have been hate crimes against Muslims, but not specifically against Palestinians or Palestinian-owned property. THERE ARE PLENTY OF VIDEOS SHOWING PRO-PALESTINIAN MOBS INTIMIDATING JEWS AND JEWISH NEIGHBOURHOODS IN CANADA, THE UNITED STATES, GREAT BRITAIN, FRANCE, SPAIN, GERMANY, HOLLAND, SWEDEN, AND OTHER EUROPEAN COUNTRIES. THERE ARE MANY PRO-PALESTINIAN VIDEOS AND WEBSITES EXPLICITLY CALLING FOR THE DEATH OF JEWS.
This policy is based on the false narrative that Palestinians are discriminated against.
Palestinians do not face systemic racism, nor do they appear in any statistics on "hate" crimes in Canada. This Anti-Palestinian Racism program is politically motivated and designed to silence any questioning of the fluid and ill-defined Palestinian narrative.
It's essential to recognize the subversive political intent of "Anti-Palestinian Racism." The Palestinians are not a "race". The Palestinians are an ethnic group which is predominantly Muslim. They have aspiring political intentions and are using the canard of Racism to achieve their political goals.
Acknowledging all individuals' dignity and rights, regardless of ethnicity, nationality, religion, or sexual orientation, is crucial for promoting equality and social justice.
It is vital, as part of broader efforts to combat "real" racism and discrimination, that this "racist" policy not be allowed into our school systems. This Anti-Palestinian Racism policy has been accepted by the Toronto District School Board (TDSB). If the APR policy is implemented as stated, it will freeze legitimate criticism and stifle honest dialogue. It is a precedent that, if allowed to go unchecked, will metastasize in ways not immediately understood and eat away at the accepting and tolerant society that is foundational to Canadian values and democracy.
APR is a policy built on false premises that can be used by any dissident national group that feels aggrieved to claim they are a Race and claim an anti-Racist agenda be introduced into our schools. Why is the Palestinian cause any more valid than the Quebec separatists, the Sikhs, the Catalans, the Scottish separatists, or any other separatist movement? By the definition of the APR, all of these secessionist movements can be classified as races, and any criticism of them is subject to accusations of RACISM. On its surface, this is ludicrous and would never be considered.
If this APR policy is allowed to infect the TDSB and other Ontario school boards, it will be rolled out across all Canadian school boards. If it is rolled out across Canadian school boards, it is only a matter of time before school boards across the United States and Europe will face calls for similar policies.
THIS APR POLICY IS AN INSIDIOUS ATTACK ON THE BASIC VALUES EXPRESSED IN “THE CANADIAN CHARTER OF RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS” or “CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES”. It is a bad policy based on false definitions of race, discrimination, and hate.
The time to stop the spread of APR is now.
